Aurora Privacy Policy

Aurora is a voice-training app still in testing. Gabi is responsible for your data at privacidade@auroravoicetraining.com. That’s also the channel for any data request.

• Waitlist: name and email, only to notify you when a spot opens and organize invites. When you create an account, that entry is deleted. Legal basis: your consent.
• Account: name, email, and if you choose email/password, your password (stored protected, never in plain text). With Google, we receive your Google account name and email.
• Your training: profile, texts, readings, pace, progress, streak, and achievements. Stored on our server in your account so the app works across devices.
• Your voice: pitch is analyzed on your device in real time and no audio is sent during reading. Recordings stay in your browser unless you choose to save them to your account. That option may not be available.
• Conversation with Aurora (when available): each line is transcribed only if you allow it. Transcription and reply use OpenAI; audio isn’t stored there.
• Technical data: the server logs IP address and browser for the session, for security and rate limiting.

We don’t use third-party trackers, don’t run ads, and don’t sell your data.

Only processors that run Aurora on our behalf: the site on Vercel, server and database on Railway, recordings on Cloudflare (when you ask to save), Google sign-in, email via Resend, and OpenAI for Conversation. Some services are outside Brazil; LGPD rules apply to those transfers.

• Waitlist: until you create an account (then we delete it), or up to 12 months, or until you ask for removal—whichever comes first.
• Account and training: while the account exists. In Profile in the app, you delete the account and data Aurora holds.
• Session technical data: while the session is valid and for the server’s security retention period.

Under LGPD you can request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information on sharing, and consent withdrawal. Email privacidade@auroravoicetraining.com. We respond within 15 days. You can also delete your account in the app. If unresolved, you may complain to ANPD (gov.br/anpd).

We use encrypted connections, protected passwords, rate limits, and restricted admin access. No system is 100% secure. If an incident affects your data, we’ll notify you and ANPD as required by law.

Aurora is for people 18 and older.

Aurora supports day-to-day practice and does not replace a speech therapist. If it hurts or you get hoarse, stop.

If something important changes, we update the effective date at the top and notify you in the app or by email.
